Denver is genuinely one of my favorite cities, even though it’s becoming a bit pricier. But don’t worry, there are still plenty of amazing free and inexpensive things to explore. We’re always hunting for the best budget-friendly activities in Denver to help plan your visit. Here’s a guide to some fantastic, no-cost experiences you can enjoy around the city.

Free Museum Days

Denver boasts some exceptional museums. The Denver Art Museum, for instance, is a stunning space that recently underwent an impressive renovation. Children’s Museum of Denver (Joy Park)

The Children’s Museum in Denver is a treasure trove for kids. The Joy Park playground, specifically, is magnificent and free to explore on selected evenings from 4:30 pm to 8 pm (or dusk). Though the museum itself remains closed during these hours, the playground offers an excellent experience.
